52 picture cards, 52 word cards and 52 labelled picture cards for the flags of the countries of Africa as studied in Montessori settings:
Algeria, Angola, Benin ... through to Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe.
The labelled flag cards are presented to the child and their countries are named and discussed. Children match the picture cards and then the word cards to the first row of cards. A three period lesson can be given to teach the some of the flags if appropriate.
