A wooden box with 7 removable lids and 4 shapes: sphere, cube, rectangular and triangular prisms. The shape is retrieved from the drawer at the front.
By starting with posting one shape this sorter can be used by the youngest children, once they have mastered each single shape, then they can try with the two hole lid, then three holes, and only do the 4 hole lid when they are ready.
The lids can also be used as stencils.
