Some possible uses

  1. Food preparation: During food preparation activities, gloves can be used to ensure that children's hands are clean and to prevent cross-contamination.

  2. Gardening: When children are working in the garden, gloves can protect their hands from thorns, dirt, and other potential hazards. They can also help prevent the spread of germs and bacteria.

  3. Science experiments: When children are conducting science experiments, gloves can protect their hands from chemicals or other substances that could be irritants or harmful. They can also help prevent contamination of the experiment.

  4. Art activities: When children are working with messy materials such as ink gloves can keep their hands clean and prevent staining.

  5. Hygiene: Gloves can also be used during hygiene activities such as dishwashing to prevent the spread of germs and bacteria.

When using gloves in the Montessori classroom, it is important to teach children how to use them properly. Children should also be taught to wash their hands thoroughly before and after wearing gloves. Gloves should be replaced regularly to ensure that they are clean and in good condition.
