A circular wooden frame with 4 coloured laces with threading pins and stopper beads.

The child can thread and weave the laces into colourful patterns, at the same time s/he develops his fine motor skills, particularly the pincer grip in preparation for writing.

ELG: Moving and handling: children show good control and co-ordination in large and small movements. They move confidently in a range of ways, safely negotiating space. They handle equipment and tools effectively, including pencils for writing.
