Many people find the glare and contrast of white paper interferes with their ability to see text clearly, for some this causes fatigue for others the writing can appear to move on the page; dark lines also create a distracting contrast.

This paper has a soft peach colour that is gentle on the eye and research shows is preferable to cool background colours. The pale lines are subtle and do not distract from the writing. This paper aims to reduce visual stress, aid concentration, reduce tiredness and make the writing easier to read.

Visual stress is a common feature of dyslexia but is also experienced to a lesser degree by many readers. The shape of words can be a significant help to early readers and spellers, the dark ink without other dark distractions allows the shape of words to really stand out. Equally, older pupils needing to revise can see the content of the page more clearly in their mind’s eye thus aiding their memory.
