1 Threading Board

Threading board, laces, tray.

The child can devise own pattern or simply thread vertical and horizontal lines.

2 Threading Frame

Selection of beads, lace, sorting tray.

The child can devise own pattern or follow a diagram, aim to encourage weaving.

3 Weaving Frame

Selection of wool, basket, weaving frame, large tray [These items included by default]

Vary the material to be woven.

4 Weaving 

Selection of ribbons, basket, grid frame, tray

Vary the material to be woven.

5 Plaiting

Plaiting board, tray.

Suggestions for additional items needed: beads, dried beans, lentils, macaroni, coriander seeds, coffee beans, corn puffs, rice, pebbles, shells
